VoltHaven
Welcome to VoltHaven,
where electricity is a privilege, not a right.
This cozy settlement runs on whatever works: a diesel generator belching smoke behind the tavern, a few solar panels that quit on cloudy days, and a lot of extension cords stretched to their breaking point. No grid. No plan. Just survival.
Your mission? Build the grid from scratch.
Start by connecting the first hungry outlets, then expand – house by house, business by business. But beware: every wire you lay is a promise. Fail to deliver, and the villagers will remind you. Loudly.
This isn’t just about power. It’s about trust.
- No safety nets – One bad connection, and whole the village goes dark.
- Mix & match energy sources – Diesel is dirty but dependable. Solar is clean but fickle. Money is key element.
- Read the grid like a pro – Learn who needs power when (power load charts can help).
- Prepare for unexpected fluctuations – Install sufficient batteries or backup sources.
- No maps, no micromanagement – just drag-and-drop simplicity. Focus on what matters: keeping the lights on.
- Be self-sufficient – Start biomass plantation (and sell that surplus produce of tomatoes you grow next to it).
- Experience authentic challenge – based on real data from countries of Europe.
The tools are in your hands. The village is waiting. Will you bring order to the chaos?
Note: Playable prototype. Expect rough edges – and the occasional virtual electrocution.
